PPP President, Dr. Bernard, is featured by the AMA in a story about scope of practice creep.

Dr. Bernard’s book, Patients at Risk, is featured in the story, warning that: “Unfortunately, most Americans have remained dangerously unaware of this revolution in health care,” the book says. And, “if patients do wonder about being treated by a non-physician, they are reassured that their nurse practitioner or physician assistant is ‘just as good’ as a doctor, an idea reinforced by multimillion-dollar direct-to-patient advertising campaigns.”
