We invite all Official Supporters to contribute to the Topics & Insights blog on our website. These helpful guidelines can help you draft a post that informs and inspires other physicians as we work together for patient protection.
Title: the ideal length for a PPP blog post title is 5 to 15 words.
Excerpt: write a brief summary of the post in 25 words or less.
Body Copy: ideally, the post should be in the range of 500 to 1,000 words. Shorter or longer posts are acceptable as determined by the subject. Try to avoid going over 2,500 words.
Image: If possible, share an image related to the post. This could be a headshot of the author, or a photo related to the subject matter. Be sure that you have the right to share any photos that you provide and that such sharing does not violate another party’s copyright.
Rights Management & Citations: In the post, make sure to place in quotes any material you copy from another website or publication that is protected by copyright, and be sure to cite the quotation. Include a URL for any material you source from another website. Quotations of copyright-protected content is permitted under fair use for purpose of commentary, satire, and education in non-profit use cases. However, such quotations should be limited.
