Media Awareness

  • We raise awareness and knowledge by enhancing media presence through various articles, press coverage, and podcasts to promote physician-led care.

  • We share expertise with reporters such as the Bloomberg Articles
  • In 2023, 10 broadcast tv, radio and print media interviews with viewership of 157,124,600 online impressions and 157,188,244 media impressions.
  • In 2022, PPP physicians have appeared in 35 interviews with viewership of 279,671,800 online impressions and 281,599,276 media impressions (this year there was more local focus).
  • In 2021 there were 27 interviews with broadcast tv, radio and print media with viewership of 676,662,699 online and 766,147,440 media impressions.
  • We monitor and seek media opportunities to promote our message

  • We have awareness campaigns like “It’s OK to Ask”, empowering patients to speak up and seek clarity about who provides their care.

  • We place billboards to encourage patients to inquire about their healthcare providers’ qualifications.

Maintaining Ethics Integrity

  • Our analysis reveals most studies regarding non-physicians are supervised and physician-led.

  • We direct individuals who have concerns about improper practice within their scope or title misappropriation to state medical/nursing boards in each state

  • We issue formal letters when appropriate to raise concerns about misleading educational programs and unsafe training standards.

  • We requested an investigation into violations of the prohibition on the Corporate Practice of Medicine (CPOM) in North Carolina
  • We sent a letter to The Honorable Jerome M. Adams, MD United States Surgeon General U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to address an appeal to President Trump by the AANP and AANA requesting that nurse practitioners across the country be granted the right to practice medicine without physician supervision during the pandemic. Our letter pointed out differences in education and training and urgent need for physician-led care.

  • Continuing Organization Expansion

    • We have grown from grassroot origins and have reached over 16,000 physician supporters over the years
    • We expanded from three to nine board members plus professional staff to meet the demands of keeping up to date on activities across the country and deliver strong support to supporters

  • Engaging Medical Professionals

    • We facilitate a safe space through social media and town halls for physicians and medical students to share openly about the challenges they face.
    • We publish expert insights on our blog submitted by individual supporters
