PPP member and Louisiana emergency medicine physician, Dr. Jamie Do Kuo, is quoted in Axios in a story that discusses how states are expanding scope of practice for nurses.

Dr. Kuo said: “A well-trained nurse practitioner can be so valuable in the clinical setting, but that being said, the patient needs physician-led care and the physician needs to be there”.
