We were founded by physicians who saw a growing disconnect between what we expect from the healthcare system and what is increasingly delivered at the bedside.
As corporate pressures reshape healthcare, patients are often left without clear information about who is treating them, how much training that person has, or who is ultimately responsible for medical decisions.
We believe patients deserve clarity—not confusion—when it comes to their care.
Our organization is led by practicing and retired physicians, residents, medical students, and assistant physicians (a new designation for physicians who have finished medical school but haven’t yet matched in a residency).
Physicians For Patient Protection is a 501-C3 organization as of January 28, 2023.
